Iowa board gives $2.9M to Fiberight's cellulosic project

The Iowa Power Board Fund on Thursday awarded Fiberight a $2.9 million grant to develop a commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol plant in Blairstown, Iowa. Once completed, the biorefinery is expected to produce about 6 million gallons per year of cellulosic ethanol from waste gathered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
