Montana nurse educator receives radon research grant

Laura Larsson, a nursing professor at the Montana State University, received $350,000 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for her research on radon, an invisible and odorless gas that causes lung cancer. Larsson intends to use a portion of the grant to increase awareness about the radioactive gas and boost nursing education in general.
