Opinion: EPA should be allowed to set emissions guidelines

The Environmental Protection Agency must be given free rein to regulate the emissions of greenhouse gases, according to Mollie Allers of Environment Montana. Sens. Max Baucus, D-Mont., and Jon Tester, D-Mont., should not support a proposal by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., that seeks to postpone the implementation of the EPA's climate rules by at least two years, the letter to the editor argues.
