Former GSI chief starts company to manage assets eBay didn't buy

Former GSI Commerce CEO Michael Rubin created a holding company, Kynetic, to run three subsidiaries that eBay didn't acquire when it bought GSI for $2.4 billion in March. Kynetic holds flash-sale website Rue La La, online shopping service ShopRunner and sports-merchandise business Fanatics.
