51% of Americans view CFPB favorably, poll finds

Some 51% of 1,000 likely voters say they have a favorable or somewhat favorable impression of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, according to a survey on behalf of Americans for Financial Reform and the Center for Responsible Lending. The survey also found that 12% said they had an unfavorable or somewhat unfavorable impression of the agency.
