AIA, FAA urge solution to sequester cuts

The Federal Aviation Administration and Aerospace Industries Association are urging the Obama administration and lawmakers to find a long-term solution to sequestration cuts that they say threaten the nation's move to an updated air traffic control system. The NextGen air traffic control system, which relies on satellites instead of radar, could see funding squeezed by the cuts, FAA Administrator Michael Huerta warns.
