Cocoa gap set to widen as demand grows

The demand for cocoa is expected to exceed supply for a second year as demand continues to grow amid less-than-ideal growing conditions. “We have serious risks to the main crop outlook and on the demand side grindings are picking up very nicely,” said Kona Haque, analyst at Macquarie Group Ltd. in London.
