Mount McKinley loses a bit of stature but retains title of tallest in North America

Alaska's Mount McKinley is 83 feet shorter than previously thought, but it remains North America's tallest mountain. Scientists used new radar mapping technology to measure the Alaskan mountain at 20,237 feet, knocking down the previous measurement of 20,320, which was determined in 1952.
