Smart-TV reminder app looks to draw users back to the show

Visible World is testing a new smart-TV app that sends users on-screen reminders when a show is about to start, whether the consumer is playing a video game, watching Web content or watching TV. The app aims to help programmers push shows to viewers who may miss more traditional promotional spots. "Content discovery, to me, is one of the biggest challenges we all have," said John Collins of Media Storm.
