Spain's lemon growers to boost yields this year

Spain's lemon growers are on track to produce 11% more fruit during the season, starting this month, as long as fall rains don't take a toll on fruit size, according to the Interprofessional Lemon and Grapefruit Association. The season starts amid an early end to the season in Southern Hemisphere countries including Argentina, Uruguay and South Africa, but this year will bring increased competition from growers in Turkey, the group said.
