Survey: U.S. Web users are broadly worried about online privacy

Three-quarters of U.S. Web users lay responsibility for maintaining online privacy at their own door, but are still worried about it, according to a survey by TRUSTe. The survey found that the single biggest area of concern was shopping online, with 87% of respondents expressing concern, followed closely by e-mail, online banking and mobile application usage.
