UBS economist: China well-positioned to ride out U.S. Fed tapering

Although other emerging markets have been shaken by the prospect of tapering by the U.S. Federal Reserve, the effect on China's economy is much less direct and traceable, said Wang Tao, UBS chief China economist. One favorable factor for China, Wang noted, is that most of its borrowing has come from domestic rather than foreign sources.
