For instance, when asking who should pay for the devices, schools could consider subsidizing part of the cost to avoid having students and teachers using them more for "play" rather than "work," she suggests. Also, schools should estimate the impact of such a program on IT staff, who will be asked to provide support for the "outside" devices being used in the classroom and on school networks, she writes.
