Wis. mayor announces rail-upgrade plan for city port

Rail-infrastructure upgrades worth $500,000 will begin next year at the Port of Milwaukee, Mayor Tom Barrett says. "With these new investments, we are continuing to provide transportation services that help local businesses reach their worldwide markets," Barrett said. The port is served by Canadian Pacific Railway and Union Pacific Railroad.
