Ground Zero workers file lawsuit over wage violations

Nine workers who helped clean up offices, apartments and stores near the World Trade Center after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks have filed a lawsuit against their former employers, alleging late pay and other wage violations. Lawyers for the workers say they hope the suit will be certified as a class action so that more than 1,000 low-wage workers who joined in the cleanup would be represented.
