NBC beefs up Net video player to woo users, marketers

NBC, in a bid for more viewers and advertisers, has enhanced its Web site video player. The site will screen all of NBC's new fall series, with a social networking component, and offer marketers the ability to have pre-roll ads, additional informational spots and elements integrated within the programming.
