Arizona State researchers are seeking ways to improve an existing biosensor test to speed diagnosis and treatment for urinary tract infections. The team aims to develop a biosensor that could diagnose the bacterial source of the infection within minutes, allowing providers to determine the correct dose and type of antibiotics.
