Oracle's expanding market power is making many businesses nervous, Steve Hamm and Aaron Ricadela write. Save Mart Supermarkets' chief information officer, James Sims, says he's not happy with Oracle's prices, but the high cost of switching vendors is making him feel locked in. Similarly, Alaska Air Group's vice president of IT says it is getting harder to negotiate with Oracle as the enterprise software market consolidates.
