Steve Wynn sees $500 million revenue potential for casino in Queens

Luxury casino developer Steve Wynn's latest proposal is to build a semi-classical casino next to the Aqueduct Raceway in Queens, N.Y. However, some analysts question whether the humble borough will be a successful setting for a high-end casino, particularly since there will be no table games and 70% of revenues will go to the state. Wynn is one of six developers who have bid for the project, and his rivals include MGM Mirage and Penn National Gaming.
