Study: True cost of cancer drugs lower than a decade ago

When factoring in longevity and quality of life, the cost of cancer drugs is 30% less than it was 10 years ago, according to Cornell University researchers. The study looked at thousands of colon cancer patients and treatments for the disease, including newer drugs like Avastin and Erbitux, which are boosting survival rates.
