Air traffic controllers get NextGen education

NextGen may still be several years away, but thousands of students training to be air traffic controllers at the FAA's academy in Oklahoma City are already learning to use the satellite-based technology. "It's our future," said Lindy Ritz, administrator of the FAA Academy. "You will see the safest aviation system in the world. It will increase safety, efficiency and also decrease the environmental footprint."
