API-organized rally draws hundreds in Colorado

Hundreds of oil and natural gas supporters flocked to Grand Junction, Colo., to attend an American Petroleum Institute-organized rally against the government's planned tax increases on fossil fuels. Protesters dismissed the need for such levies and called on the government to generate more jobs. "Jobs are going to be in jeopardy if they continue to move forward with these tax hikes that are going to affect our energy industry," said Trevor Taylor, one of the participants.
