Florida town's sign-size rules change with new ordinance

The city commission in Marianna, Fla., approved a new sign ordinance after months of debate. Among other provisions, the new rules allow businesses to post larger, taller signs than were permitted under the old ordinance. The law also allows businesses to use temporary streamers and banners for 16 days each quarter.
