Consumer Bankers Association President Richard Hunt was a guest on Fox Business on Monday to discuss banking regulation. Hunt emphasized that while reforms that call for the simplification of disclosure documents for products such as credit cards and mortgages are a positive step, he thinks the Dodd-Frank Act goes too far in some areas of banking regulation. "We certainly knew that after the financial meltdown in 2008 that Congress would do one of two things. Either they would do nothing or they would overreact. ... I think they overreacted," Hunt said.
