HHS teams up with insurers, providers in heart health campaign

The HHS has collaborated with several health insurers, pharmacies and care providers on the Million Hearts campaign meant to help Americans curb heart disease risk factors such as smoking, hypertension and high cholesterol, and increase the use of aspirin to help prevent the disease. The program aims to prevent 1 million heart attacks over a five-year span.
