Utah students learn about the environment firsthand

Over the next two weeks, most fourth-grade students in two Utah districts will participate in an outdoor field trip to learn more about the environment by experiencing it firsthand. Students learn from Utah State University College of Natural Resources instructors, and teachers say the outdoor lessons help students remember what they have learned. "It's always better than me standing there, just talking," said teacher Carrie Briehn.
