Canadian wildfire management ends contract for water bomber

An iconic Hawaii Mars water bomber owned by the Coulson Group has lost its contract with Canada's Wildfire Management Branch. A spokesman for the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resources said that the department wants to use "smaller and more versatile water-scooping aircraft that do not have some of the operational limitations of the Martin Mars."
