FAA awards $40M grant for aviation biofuel research

The Federal Aviation Administration awarded a grant for aviation biofuel research to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Washington State University. The $40 million grant provides $4 million a year for 10 years to develop biofuel research. "This innovative partnership supports President Obama's national plan to address climate change," said U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx.
