Floods in Colorado have caused millions of dollars worth of damage to roads and buildings as creeks become rivers and roads turn into waterways. Some towns have been cut off as roads in and out have become impassable. Homes have collapsed; thousands of residents have been evacuated; three people have died; and more than a dozen people are unaccounted for. The National Guard has been called in to evacuate all residents of Lyons after the town became isolated with no public water or sewer services.
