IBM tackles enterprise Big Data with InfoSphere upgrade

IBM is expanding the scope of its InfoSphere information integration and management software to give businesses new tools for handling their Big Data needs. The planned upgrade will include a host of new features -- with names like Data Click and Big Master -- that are designed to help companies gather and crunch information on individual customers. Big Blue is also launching a new analytics consulting service, dubbed Big Data Stampede, to help drive prospects toward the company's platforms.
