Minn. immersion schools look for ways to assess proficiency

Students in the St. Cloud School District in Minnesota have more options to enroll in dual language programs, but that has left some educators seeking assessment systems to gauge student performance in languages other than English. Dual language programs are fairly new and assessment systems are limited, said Hao Li, Chinese immersion instructional leader for the district.
