Renewable-energy integration facility is a "game changer," officials say

Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz led the dedication ceremony of the $135 million Energy Systems Integration Facility at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's campus in Colorado. The facility, which allows researchers to measure the impacts of renewable-energy grid integration technologies, is the first in the country and a "game changer" for the industry, NREL officials said.
