ISDA plans to change the way ISDAFIX is calculated by basing it on actual rates from multiple trading systems, rather than basing it on submissions from banks. Ed Ocampo, chairman of the group's benchmark committee, says the goal is to make the change within six months. "Very much at the top of the agenda is renovating ISDAFIX," Ocampo said at an ISDA conference in New York. ISDA's next regional conference is scheduled Thursday in London.
