Colorado county rezones for $1 billion project

Arvada, Colo., is moving forward with plans to rezone Vauxmont, the largest development area in Jefferson County, and Cimarron Park, to allow for a $1-billion mixed-use project. The properties, a combined 1,500 acres, will include 137 acres of commercial use, 562 acres of industrial use, 518 residential units, parks and open space once construction is complete.
