A Hollywood Reporter forecast on the state of global media in 2015 predicts a greater role for aggregators, saying "the ability to access, locate, store, manipulate and manage content will be as important as the content itself." In general, content will be branded, portable and downloadable, and not sold in fixed formats like DVD and CD, according to the forecast.
