Report: Hotels a factor in revitalizing Lower Manhattan

A big challenge to the redevelopment of Lower Manhattan following Sept. 11 involves the shortage of hotels in the area. With more hotels that are more affordable in Midtown Manhattan, visitors are less likely to stay in Lower Manhattan, and that is an important issue for businesses wishing to build there, according to a Bloomberg report.
