Hair removal market reaches out to younger audience, men

Depilatory maker Nair now aims at younger customers by introducing Nair Pretty, a line intended for the 10- to 15-year-old demographic. The product, which comes in kiwi and peach scents, is being advertised in magazines such as CosmoGIRL! and Seventeen. Sally Hansen, a Nair competitor, focuses on male grooming and has recently introduced both a depilatory and wax strips intended for men.
