Study: Obesity heightens risk of stillbirth

Obese women are 40% more likely to have their pregnancy result in a stillbirth, with black women particularly at risk, a new study says. Researchers say obese women are more prone to higher blood pressure and diabetes during pregnancy, and black women have higher incidences of these conditions during pregnancy than white women.
