Use emotions, neuroscience to perk up your staff

A demonstrable attitude of hope, passion and excitement can be contagious. If you let your employees see yours, you might find they become more focused and innovative. At the same time, when we choose who to follow -- whether in the workplace or political arena -- we need to make conscious choices and think about our feelings if we're to be emotionally intelligent.
