After long wait, Treasury releases TARP lobbying rules

The Treasury Department finally has posted rules for lobbying for funds under the Troubled Asset Relief Program last week, nearly one year after Congress approved the legislation and on the day that Secretary Timothy Geithner said the program was moving into a new phase. Mr. Geithner said on Jan. 27 that the administration would release the rules aimed at limiting the influence of lobbyists.
