Calif. football stadium plan faces opposition

A plan to build a San Francisco 49ers stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., is facing opposition from Cedar Fair Entertainment officials, who say the project will eliminate the possibility of future expansion for a theme park. Lawmakers recently passed a bill that will allow construction of the stadium to bypass competitive bidding requirements. The bill still needs the governor's signature.
