Credit insurers consider reviving coverage for many UK retailers

Several large retailers in the UK, including JJB Sports, House of Fraser and Dixons, reportedly had their credit insurance coverage withdrawn this year. The British Retail Consortium said the supply chain of roughly half of all major retailers was affected by credit insurers withdrawing coverage. As retailers gear up for the ever important run-up to Christmas, the credit insurers appear poised to revive coverage.
