Someecards.com is a venture run by former advertising agents, so it's not surprising that the site has an innovative online marketing strategy. "Our site is about communication and social gestures, so it's important to allow people to participate in content creation," says co-founder Duncan Mitchell. Though they have more than 1 million Twitter followers, "we're careful not to advertise in the Twitter channel," he notes.
