GE working on body sensor networks for patient monitoring

GE Healthcare is developing body sensor networks through GE Global Research to make remote patient monitoring more efficient. The wireless systems would record temperature, pulse oximetry, blood glucose levels and other patient-specific information in real time and allow for their transmission to doctors and nurses from any location.
