Tamils suffer under prison conditions in internment camps

Fewer than 5% of the 300,000 Tamils held in internment camps by Sri Lanka's government have been released -- and their situation is plagued by declining health care, inadequate access to water and overpopulation. The refugees fear monsoon season will be especially problematic for those stuck in the camps, which are situated on a flood plain.
