Youth treated to flights through EAA program

A local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association in Greencastle, Ind., treated children ages 8 through 17 to short airplane rides over the weekend to give the youth an introduction to flying. The chapter was started by several ex-World War II aviators, and the flights, offered through its Young Eagles Program, were part of Putnam County Municipal Airport's Airport Appreciation Days.
