AH&LA survey finds importance of technology increasing

The American Hotel & Lodging Association has released results of a survey that shows changes in travelers' preferences. For example, the survey found 75% of hoteliers who responded are marketing through social-networking sites. "Not surprisingly, there were large upticks in both technology and sustainability as hotels continue to cater to guests' interest in these two areas," AH&LA President and CEO Joe McInerney said.
