Garmin mulls hanging up on smartphone category

Garmin's smartphone sales, which came in at $27 million in the second quarter, have underwhelmed Chief Financial Officer Kevin Rauckman, and the company must make a decision on whether to offer the devices in the future. "We're pragmatic. ... We'll have to make decisions within the next couple of quarters -- whether we continue to invest or whether we pull back," he said.
