More eggs get fertilized using IVF in springtime, study finds

Brazilian researchers learned that success rates for in vitro fertilization were highest during spring, with 73.5% of eggs fertilized during the season compared with 69% at most in other seasons. However, it is still "important to highlight that assisted reproduction techniques are effective regardless of the season in which the treatment is being performed," the study's lead author said.
