American to provide a Samsung tablet device for premium passengers

American Airlines is about to become the first North American carrier to "offer a branded tablet on board its aircraft for in-flight entertainment purposes," this feature notes. The IMS Company will provide 6,000 Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets for use in premium cabins on long-haul flights.
